Instructions for receiving emailed lab test results
How are my results sent to me?
Emailed test results are sent as a PDF document enclosed in a password protected 7-Zip archive/file.
What do I need to do?
You need zip software to open the 7-Zip archive/file and then Abode Acrobat Reader software to read your emailed results. They are both free. The table below shows how to get them for your computer/device.

How to open emailed results
Open the 7-Zip attachment and when prompted enter your unique password (password is on the back of your emailed results card you will be given at the time of collection) to open the 7-Zip archive.
If the attachment doesn’t open download and save the attachment to your computer and open from there.
Use the correct upper and lower case characters when entering your password.
Once open copy or extract PDF document to your local disk for future reference (e.g. saving to your My Documents folder).
As the PDF documents (i.e patient results) are not themselves encrypted, take care when saving and/or distributing them.
